Middle School Program

The VCNC Middle School Program is a year-round initiative dedicated to helping young people grow and succeed.

We focus on academics, enrichment, nutrition, and social-emotional learning, creating an environment where students can improve their academic performance and feel a sense of belonging in their community.

Programming is provided at no cost to families.

  • RISE After School Program

Our RISE Middle School After-School program provides personalized academic support, life skills training, and field trips. It focuses on life skills, community leadership, civic engagement, and college/career readiness. Activities include discussions on mental health and violence prevention, community service, goal-setting, cooking classes, and field trips around Madison.

  • Summer Camp

Our summer camp offers a variety of fun learning experiences, including youth-led clubs, fitness activities, team-building, and weekly field trips. The program focuses on personal growth and recreation, while also providing tutoring, academic activities, and social-emotional learning to help prevent the summer slide.
